S-Group Holding has become part owner of Progira Radio Communication AB. S-Group has subsidiaries like ESRI S-Group and ESRI Finland, companies part of the global ESRI network, the leading supplier of geographic information systems (GIS).

Progira offers network operators and broadcasters worldwide consulting services and world leading software for design of digital and analogue radio and television networks. Progira software is based on ESRI's GIS platform.

- Progira has a unique competence and market position in digital broadcast planning. We find evident synergies in marketing as well as technically. We will cooperate in sales both in the Nordic countries and globally through the ESRI distributor network. Progira has with their product GiraPlan expanded the market for ESRI's products, says Per Carlsson, CEO of ESRI S-Group.
